Some questions are scary to ask…
Here are some frequently asked questions/concerns you may have, but don’t want to personally ask.

I offer primarily individual counseling to women struggling with the emotional, physical, and social effects of addiction. I work with all forms of addiction including sex addiction, food addition, Self harm, substance use disorder, and others.
Coming soon: I will be providing a limited group therapy space for those clients enrolled in individual treatment through Recovering Connections LLC. -
Absolutely not
I work with individuals seeking full sobriety as well as those seeking harm reduction or navigating relationship challenges caused by their addictive habits.
I do ask that you approach sessions with honesty. If you are choosing to continue, please be transparent about this with me so that we can navigate your goals together.
I do require that you are sober during session so that we can engage fully together and for your informed consent. If your addiction is to a substance and you appear intoxicated during session I will inquire on your use and be required to end session.

I accept most insurances as well as private pay clients. If your insurance is not yet covered please be patient as I am likely in the process of credentialing.
Your exact cost per session will vary based on your insurance plan coverage. A cost estimation will be run prior to services in order to ensure transparency in estimated cost.
My private pay cost for those clients who prefer not to utilize their insurance benefits is $150 per therapy hour (50 minute session). -
Please see “do i have to stop using” above.
Your goals in therapy are driven by you. In your initial session, and routinely after that, we will assess why you were motivated to come, what your goals are, and how to get to those goals.
If you have an outside individual pressuring you to make a certain decision, than your choice to not comply may have implications on your relationship with them or with the law. I will encourage you to weigh and discuss those possible implications when creating your goals.

If you have active legal involvement or a PO it is possible that he/she may want documentation from me to prove that you are continuing to receive therapy services. I would be happy to provide this documentation with your consent in order to keep you in good standing. That being said- unless you give your consent, 42 CFR Part 2 protects you. Without your written consent, I would require a court order.

Unfortunately no. I am unable to work with you while I am already working with a loved one.
It is ok if you know another of my clients as an acquaintance from past treatment centers, sober living, or substance use.
Should your loved one discharge from my services, I require a 3 month waiting period before I am able to begin supporting you.
