Individual Therapy sessions

Individual therapy is a private one-on-one meeting designed to help you better understand yourself. While therapy is done with a trained professional using proven tools, it can feel no different than meeting with a trusted friend for a walk in city park when you’ve had a hard day. That is therapy too.

Many people begin therapy following a recent relapse, during a crisis, or before a major life transition. Others seek therapy simply because they feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in repeating patterns, or ready for deeper personal growth. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Individual therapy can be a space for healing, self-discovery, emotional support, and connection.

The therapeutic process looks different for everyone, because each person’s needs and goals are unique to them. In our work together, we might explore your relapse patterns, talk about past, discuss your current relationships, build coping skills for urges or develop deeper self-understanding.
